     Hi Everyone,
    I plan visit Phan Thiet about 1 week or less, I may get Phan Thiet around 24th May 2013...
    I love photography a doing freelance jobs,...
    Could anyone advice me please, where I can visit in or nearby Phan Thiet for taking photo?
    I can speak Vietnamese & English, love to know more people and learning new things in life as much as possible...
    I can join with local people or tourism visitors for any photo trips/events on 25th and/or 26th May 2013.
    Definitely, I can share to you some very good updated and useful for Photo Editing and English self study software.

    If you travel by Motobike, you can follow my journey.
    Stay in Phan Thiet city for a night. About 4 or 5am, you go to the Mui Ne from Phan Thiet city. You'll see the real life of local people there: sailing seafood, market, fish... You can see the old temple of ethnis minority in Binh Thuan (Cham-pa).It's take about less than 1 hour from Phan Thiet city to Mui Ne without do anything thing.
    So you have to be careful with the time to make sure that you'll have some nice picture when you come to Mui Ne: Sand dunes, beach, sun, resort, desert...
    After taking photos in Mui Ne, what you do is driving your motobike along the sea and ask the local how to reach the 1A street. Believe me, it's easy to find out it. If you continue go, you'll come to Tuy Phong which my hometown ^^
    If you like naturally picture, let come there. I'll show you some places to take photos if you are interested in

    In the city, u can visit the big market to take some streetlife photos. Moreover, Dục Thanh School and Thủy Tú Temple are good place to visit.
    The riverside at night is really good for taking photo. It's safe but u better shouldn't go after 10 p.m with ur gear ^^!
    Nearby Phan Thiết, there's Po Sah Inư Cham Tower which is about 7 km from Phan Thiết.
    And Đồi Hồng in Mũi Né is a large red sand dune which is about 20 km from Phan Thiết. But, if u want to take good photos, u should arrive in there early morning (about 5 a.m, i think).
    So, Kê Gà Lighthouse and Bàu Trắng (a white sand dune with lake) still be good places for taking photos but it's far from Phan Thiết. Read about it if u planing to go there.
    Of course, u should prepare wide lens :)

    it's a pitty that i must to do my exam till the end of May. I like taking picture and hope to do it with people who have experience. Actually, i have not bought a DSLR yet. hihi

    It is fine, we can catch up another time, wishing you get good points for your exams...
    DSLR is quite valuable of investment but it is useful of course,..., if you have one Compact or Point & Shoot is well enough for starting "photography loving"..., the message of picture is much more important than the GEARS to take picture.
    I begun taking photo since I was a student in Ha Noi, until now I still find my passion in photo like endless road of hobby...

    Hey im vietnamese too...next month i have plan come in there few day... i look at nice place ( i think so ) Núi Chúa - Ninh thuận and tiger lake around Phan thiet ( not too much information on internet), i never been them before so that my plan for photo also... any place on Phan thiet..hummm...i dont think it cool for take a photo (about me but excerp Ke ga, Bầu cát) ...hope u have nice trip!     You shouid go Bàu Trắng in the morning, A road from Mũi Né to Nha Trang along beach is beautiful.
    In the evening, you should go to Yellow Sand Dunes (Doi Cat Vàng )
    Po Sha Inu tower is a derelict remainder of the ancient Cham culture that was built in the 8th century.

    the Brotzeit (39 Le Duan - next to the Intercontinental) will show the game. Since it is a German Bar, I guess many German expats will be there so some atmosphere is guaranteed! Drinks there are a bit more pricy though

    Yes, there are several companies running night buses from Ho Chi Minh to Siem Reap, but it may take a bit more than one night. Maybe arrival at midday next day. Costs about $30-$35 USD
