of backpacker district but down a quiet alley.
Yes,
there are several companies running night buses from Ho Chi Minh to Siem
Reap, but it may take a bit more than one night. Maybe arrival at
midday next day. Costs about $30-$35 USD

Mark. Would you know if we can pre-book for the bus, or do we need to
purchase it at the terminal when we get there? I'm a bit worried if we
can't pre-book because there are quite a number of us, and we may not
get seats in the same bus.

would need to visit one of the tour office's here in the backpacker area
(many) and book/pay for your ticket.Doubt highly you could book over
the phone. you should be ok, but you may need to book a day ahead, or
yeah, just get two seperate buses if need be
