God-Esteem

COMPUTER ERRORS WHICH COULD CAUSE DEATH WILL BE INEVITABLE: The first part of ACA starts with the HITECH Act, a mandate that requires physicians to leave their pen and paper method of dealing with patients and transition to electronic patient charts by 2015. Once doctors have figured out their new computer systems, they have to then get past the normal computer issues that occur, like missing information, software and hardware quirks and any other day-to-day technological malfunctions. Doctor’s schedules don’t normally allow free time to spend training on administrative changes like the ones required by the HITECH Act, and computer errors in patients’ charts can have life-changing implications, up to and including death.

  • Tom McDonough Get in line for the mandatory RFID chips. The mark of "the beast"? It's coming guys.
  • Marilyn Mitchell biometric ID's for sure. eventually can't buy or sell without it. Government wants to track ALL income and be able to tax it. Charities will be prohibited from helping certain people. Total control!
  • Tom McDonough George Orwell must be having a fit.
  • Original Oatmeal Let older doctors do without newer ways of doing things, like newer technologies like computers, since it the older you get then the longer it may take for you to learn new things, and yet the older you get the less time you may have. Younger doctors will come in with newer ways of doing things. Let the newer and older doctors co-exist and get along. It is almost like newer doctors speak different languages than older doctors because they may understand computer languages or other like things that the older doctors may know less of. I am in favor of doing my best with what I have. Try not to complain too much for what you don't have and focus on what you do have and appreciate what you do have while you still can.
