- Drink&Talk English Speaking Club [Marshall] Joey, I don't know should foreigners get in for free (for the club), but I do know one thing that, no matter who you are, foreigners or Vietnamese or anykind, you walk into a coffee shop and you expect them to not charge your drinks or your ...See More
- Original Oatmeal Marshall, how many foreigners go to the Drink&Talk English Speaking Club? If you want to attract more foreigners, then you should add incentive or something. Of course, practically speaking, you only charge 5.000 or 15.000 VND for the club fee for each...See More
- Trà Tươi yo oatmeal, what is the point you are trying to make here?
1- We're running real deal, a profitable business, not charity.
2- What we are selling is not lesson but environment. An English speaking environment. We don't want to be racist, so we apply the same so called "club fee" to every human being.
3- We know how to run our business, so take care of your own business first. I mean find a real job.
4- Hope that part on which your destiny lies won't cross mine. Or any of us. - Original Oatmeal In the voice of Yoda, the love of money is the root of some evil. Now, usually people say that money is the root of all evil. Please remember that the mentality of "Business For Profit" can corrupt, derail, refrain, mutate, twist, and change, morality, character, purpose, innocence, righteousness, integrity, and even destiny itself, as it does to governments all around the world to different extents.
Trà Tươi, you don't like charity? Are you against charity? You are missing the bigger pictures of life. Are you too successful for advice? You cannot take feedback because you think you know it all? Why am I being treated differently than other foreigners?
I am not talking about the difference between me and Vietnamese people. Luis said that foreigners do not have to pay, but why do I have to pay? Am I any less of a foreigner than other foreigners? What makes me different than other foreigners?
You can run your business however you want.
However, certain things are more "Bad For Business" than other things. Alienating the foreign "Alien Friends" is a dangerous procedure.
Trà Tươi, you said that you charge every human who goes to your club. However, Luis says foreigners are free. There is a contradiction there. You guys have two different stories for how you guys do business.
This means that you are not on the same page on how to do things. You guys are not saying the same exact things. Plus, Luis said that I obviously cannot help with the Drink&Talk English Speaking Club.
Why can't I help? Is my English bad? Why don't you want foreigners at your club? I have not seen a single foreigner at your club.
You need to rethink how you guys treat foreigners.
Foreigners do not grow on trees.
