But when you actually read the first 3 verses of the Bible, there are numerous events that take place between "creating the heavens and the Earth" and "it was formless and void" . The Hebrew translation means chaos broke out or war. If God is perfect , He can't create a "formless and void" Earth. How'd it get like that (it's in Ezekiel by the way) and how long was the time between this event and God sending His Spirit on the Earth ?

There is no plausible explanation for a literal 6 day creation, when days weren't even defined! ( yes it says night and day , but the Bible refers to night as different period of time as we would ) Hours were not defined nor were they even explicitly stated. Do you think it's possible for Adam to name all of the animals before nightfall ? If it were say 16 hours max ? That's unreasonable.

It is observed, Mathew. Evolution is observed in real time. And the theory of evolution is applied to work out what has happened.
Just as we have observed the fertilisation of an egg by a sperm to give rise to pregnancy, we apply that as a theory to determine that *every* pregnancy is the result of a fertilisation.
