I think, for the most part, humans are very cynical creatures. We focus more on the failures and the upsets and not the victories and triumphs. But that very well might be my personal view of humanity projected on everyone else. For I am a chief offender in that regard...

  • Ben Barkley This is an experience that all of them will carry with them for the rest of their lives. These are experiences that are helping them to learn about themselves, their weaknesses and where God wants to strengthen each one of them. I lived in tents and on dirt for years serving the Lord and I remember going through the same kind of feelings, but 25 years later, I woud never say that I regretted going through all of that.

  • Martha Sheppard Notes like this are what allow us to promote Revolution Hawaii with our Advisory Board and our soldiers. Too often, people make jokes like "oh, suffering for jesus in Hawaii. Must be rough." Because of "reports" like this, it allows us to emphasize that our need for God becomes apparent no matter where we are . . .

  • Andrew Fries She was giddy! And Ben, CB went out with a bit of a cold but when we checked up on him he seemed to be doing better. The team had spent some of their food money on cold medicine for him and one of the other girls who was feeling poorly. He was in very good spirits. He was the team member who asked if I had any prayer requests.

I am so happy that you keep us all updated. I had this notion in my head that Caleb was going over there and we basically weren't going to be hearing much about anything until his year stint was done.   • Ben Barkley I don't know who the other 5 are unless Rob is one of them, not that I know him personally but Caleb was telling me about him when he met him in CA for that thing they did in the Redwood forest. Amazing how much beautiful property the SA owns!

For He hath said, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee”; As a Parent, there have been many occasions where I wanted to so badly to step in and try to fix things for my Son that he was going through and knew I could not. I knew that God was at work and that he had to learn these life lessons on his own, but I sure prayed harder and interceded more, and just kept God's promises before me & declaring that my Son's steps are ordered by God! I am sure all of the Rev Hi's team parents are doing the same, praying hard & trusting God for sure  Lord Jesus we pray that you will continue to lead and guide the Leadership of Rev Hi & the AMAZING 14 young men & woman on this team. We thank you that you have charged your Angels to watch over them in your Holy Name!
