If You Believe in Jesus then Why Not Believe What He Says?

Jesus was a Creationist, he believed in a literal 6 day creation. He took the bible literally. Jesus was able to recall any scripture from memory, and taught it as the true, perfect word of God.... without error or contradictions. He preached the Flood of Noah and Jonah in the Fish 3 days were literal events, and that Hell is a literal place. If you trust Jesus.....shouldn't you trust what he said?

You pagan! Don't you believe that Jesus is God the Son? Don't you believe that Jesus doesn't need to believe, because he already *knows*?
Are you really a Christian, Sergio?

    So can innumerable Muslims.

Some people have memorised pi to over 30,000 decimal places - does that make them gods?

He preached the good samaritan and the prodigal son as literal events - so are you sent to hell if you don't accept that they were.

He preached about the mustard seed being the smallest of *all* the seeds - does that mean you go straight to hell if you find a smaller seed?

  • Timothy Bruce Ide Yeah, was gonna say; wasn't Jesus supposed to have been present at Creation, going 'A little more to the left with Norway !'

  • John Armagh I'm sorry, but all this "Jesus believed this, Jesus believed that" nonsense. You cannot claim Jesus is part of the Triune God and that he believed stuff.

  • John Armagh To be honest I think he was a little too far to the left with Norway - it plays havoc with the weather over here.

  • Ruth Giles If he believed stuff like that, you shouldn't trust Jesus, or anything he said!

  • John Armagh I do think it is dreadful these Creationists dragging Jesus's reputation through the mud like this.

  • Keith Fosberg "... Jesus was a Creationist, he believed in a literal 6 day creation. ..."

Bullocks. first off; Yeshua didn't "believe in" anything. Yeshua was the Christ in human form, sent to walk among us that the burden of sin might be lifted from us.

He knows, in intimate and precise detail, all that has transpired.

Thus, not only is there no room for "belief" of the past when one is omniscient; there is no room for falsehoods like YEC.

To say that he preached that the flood was a literal event, covering the whole of the world at once is an abject lie.

  • Brandon Benjamin -.- the Earth wasn't created in 6 days . There is no YEC , and it's quite possible God recreated the Earth with Yeshua. How can you take something literal that isn't even properly translated ?

  • Sergio Amezcua Creationist= One who believes in 6 day creation. Keith Fosberg, are you suggesting Christ did not believe in his own creation?
  • John Armagh Because they are YECs - for them that is sufficient.
