Might Move

I have been in Vietnam for the past 5 months teaching English. I am earning around $1,000 USD per month. I am paying around $200 or less for my room for rent.

I get around by my bicycle. I bought my bicycle for $100. I spent $10 or less on fixing my flat tire on bike so far. I bought my bike early in April 2013. I do not have a motor-bike. I am spending $1 or less per meal for food. I bought a $12 colored-screen Samsung phone with Viettel service with 3 days long battery life. Laundry is around half a $1 per kg at some places or more if you are in District 1 (which is the most expensive alongside of districts 2, 3, 4, 5, 7. Cheaper districts includes Binh Thanh, Tan Binh, Go Vap, District 8, District 10).

Computers, phones, and other like similar important products are in fact overpriced due to the illegally over-elevated governmentally influenced import/export tax.
