Being "Number One" is way more important than being liked. I am always trying to do what is best in life, what is right in life.
I would have a lot more friends if I simply lied to them. I just have to tell them what they want to hear. I just have to compromise my integrity to satisfy them. I could have all the friends and riches in the world if I just gave in. All I have to do is play it safe and remain politically correct within the status quo of tradition, culture, peer-pressure, normality, fear. I just have to stick with being normal in saying what feels to be the right words and the right actions in the right places and ways.
That is what we all do or desire to do to some extent.
We all want to be loved. We are willing to lie for love.
We give into this tornado in exchange for a soul.
We sell our souls to the devil for the hope of happiness.
I refuse to do this. That is why I am always losing friends. I will tell you whatever I think you need to hear, even if it makes your ears bleed. I am all about the tough love. For example, I made somebody mad today because I said that the United States was not trying to conquer Vietnam. If the USA wanted to, they would have threw bombs on Vietnam. That would have killed everybody in Vietnam. China took some of the islands of Vietnam. But the USA never did that. I also like telling people that we all need Christ to give us wings like Red Bull.
I cannot give in because I am lonely. I have to do what is best in life. It may cost me everything. I may lose all of my friends. They may beat me and ultimately kill me, but I am seriously willing to take up my cross and follow Christ to the edge of the earth. I do not have the fear of death. I only have the fear of being dishonest, unfaithful, and unwilling to give my all for others. Joey Arnold. Joey Arnold. Maria Arnold. Marilyn Mitchell. Jen-jen Pableo

Thanks
for writing to me. I do appreciate the feedback I get on Couch Surfing
since CS is often more friendly to travellers than Facebook or other
websites appear to be at times. I was even able to get suitable advice
here when I was asking...
My
girl friend stole $3,000,000 from me. That is three million. She gets
mad at me for not spending money on her, but I kind of did spend a bunch
of money and time on her. Plus, some of my most valuable things in my
life may have been stolen at the Papa Foods in Bac Ninh, Vietnam. There
are things that mean everything to me back there but that suitcase is
missing. Joey Arnold

See the ring? Joey Arnold. Dương Phương Thảo. Kathy Thao Duong. That ring is on my hand. That ring is real.
