That isn't Oatmeal- he said that account got blocked.
That is the same guy, he has a different account, but he kept the same picture
Like a fugitive mexican drug lord getting a new ID & a total plastic surgery reboot & opting for an identical face to the authorities have on file

, most of those are natural duck-faces though. I'd be concerned if I had a daughter tat dressed this way but at least they have the freedom to do this here and not get stoned to death for it.

SCOTT - au contraire...they are un-natural duckfaces. Where they got that trend I will never know. AGREE - their parents should be concerned. 20 years ago you would have NEVER seen girls dressing like that (makes note to remind wife that our daughter doesn't get freedom until she turns 30 - or until my shotgun permit from Ministry of Public Security is approved) ALSO AGREE that its good they have the freedom to avoid getting stoned...let me rephrase that...ah...never mind...

Really, I don't know whoever can say these girls are cool or hip. First of all, Their clothes are cheap and kinda out of fashion at the moment, plus they dress like cheap bar girls . Secondly, their hairstyles 're fashionable for like........ 5 years ago or something. And seriously, who wears Dr. Martin anymore except secondary school kids and boys/girls from the countryside? :))) IMHO, those kind of kids I mentioned DON'T have enough money for KFC/ Mac Donald or whatever "tay food" that often to get fat. So no, don't worry, they are not that "future" of Vietnam

Kids from the country-side in Nam wears Dr Marten''s? Damn, that's an expensive brand, at least in the west. Skin Heads and Punk Rockers used to wear them were I come from

no they are not expensive. Faked ones only cost you up to 300k, but usually a lot cheaper.

I am in complete agreement with Bội Quỳnh Nguyễn Đặng. Those girls just don't have a sense of style. Same hairstyle, same apparel, same facial expression, same shoes. Basically, they just copy one another and haven't the slightest idea on what look good on them. I attribute this shortcoming to the lack of space in the Vietnamese family. Girls just don't have their own rooms when they are growing up. They are just not given enough space of their own so they could experiment with their sense of fashion, like putting together an outfit or matching their clothes. It's even worse with the previous generation of women in their 40's and 50's when Vietnam was under the worst socialist rules. I have seen middle-aged Vietnamese women wearing teen age outfits. Viet girls are at a severe disadvantage comparing to their counterparts in the West.

Erich Dang IMHO, that's not the case. You can dress well even if you grow up in a parking lot as long as you are taught/ inspired to have a sense of creativity. But Vietnamese education method, the truth as old as the Earth, is more about copying-and-pasting rather than letting the students think on their own. I am not saying that ALL young Vietnamese dress the same, some do have great style. But this is so true when coming to those girls above

Bội Quỳnh Nguyễn Đặng. I don't see how you could learn all of that by yourself without a supporting environment. In the US, teenage girls can go to the shopping malls and try on new arrivals 4 times a year. By the time they are 18, they have outgrown most of their awkward practices and got exquisite taste on clothes. That's how the fashion industry just gets richer all the time.

Yep, that's what I meant. God forgive me pls but I have to say its usually a giant pain in the ass. Btw, it's sometimes good to be "normal" or "ordinary" but being blended in is another opposite issue.
