I think that if you post too many phone number and hyperlinks and and addresses and other so-called personal private information, even if it's your information (since you have the right to share your own private information to the public in real life and online if you want because I kind of feel that we all should have the freedom of free speech, free press, to be honest, to be transparent, to have those kind of freedoms, rights) then Couch Surfing may delete your account and profile on Couch Surfing. I know of some people who have had this happen.
Each website can do what they want. That is fine. Couch Surfing has the right to delete any account, without needing a reason.
However, the problem, is that CS does not tell you about this. The way they word is. CS will say something like "It looks like you are sharing a link or a number or some kind of personal information. Please do not post things like this, that is if you want to protect your privacy." That is fine. That is not exactly what CS says. I paraphrase. But CS needs to reword that. CS should say, "If you post that, we may deactivate your CS account without warning." CS can do what they want. But they need to better word things so that the users can better understand the rules.
