VN Bus on Fire & Police Jumped on a Moving Van on a Highway? People died?

it's OK they have stopped the hydrofoil service and put on extra buses, buses are much safer...

I'd really love to know exactly what part of their training tells them to jump on the front of these cars... seems like a patently stupid thing to do, maybe seen a few too many 80's action movies.

Kris Wilkins I'd love to know what's going through the driver's mind right at this moment. I'd be frantically thinking if ways I could get out of this. What exactly are the drivers options?

If he breaks quickly, the policeman would fall off, he could reverse suddenly, escape that way. But the cop would have chance to read the license plate as he reverses.

If he speeds up, he could accidentally kill the policeman & be looking at a firing squad.

Craig Anderson Matty I would think any cop in Australia doing this would probably be reprimanded for stupidity, endangering his own life and the safety of the public... it's a traffic offence, not like the guy is wanted for murder.

Joey Arnold I enjoy watching Criminal Minds, CSI, Law & Order, & I believe that the police need to be more careful regardless of the specifics. Police are not always able to do what Batman does. People should be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law and not until then. You have a right to remain silent and I hope police don't jump on my cars or bikes because I see those things I rights to some reasonable extents of sanity.
