Hey everyone, I'm hosting my 23rd birthday in Ho Chi Minh City from 12 July 2013 to 14 July 2013 with a group of 20 friends.

Will anyone be so kind to recommend a few great clubs/bars where we can visit/dance/get drunk on the cheap? Probably somewhere with a great crowd. Also, if you know of any great restaurant for a birthday celebration, do let me know too!

I dunno if you like some specific kind of restaurant or not, but you can consider the hotpot places in D8 and its cheap (60 Tùng Thiện Vương, P.11, Quận 8), or enjoy Germany Beer at Bitgarden Restaurant (231 Võ Văn Kiệt, P. Cô Giang, Quận 1, TP. HCM), they have live music there and you can also join singing for free ^^
For clubs/bars: I have never been to one so I have no idea.

Thanks Hanh! We are definitely open to all sorts of suggestions! Beer garden sounds good though. Got to check those out. What about the best place for pho and spring roll?

Welcome Sean. For Pho you can try Phở Hòa Pasteur (you go Pasteur past Vo Thi Sau and look to the right), or Pho Hung (SA5 Khu phố Mỹ Phúc, Phú Mỹ Hưng, P.Tân Phong, Quận 7), and Phở Lệ (413-415 Nguyễn Trãi, P.7 - Quận 5). Personally I like Phở Hòa the most ^^.
For Springroll, it is quite easy to make this food so not many places would serve bad one for you so I think you can try it anywhere.
Btw, do you like wrapped stuff? The placed call "Hoang Ty" is serving real good wrapped n roll <3

13th trip to Mekong Delta visit My tho, Ben Tre
14th depend on your light departure, if it's late afternoon so you can take a tour around the city
all the above trip you can join with a group tour and book at tour agency
