Hanoi Computer Nerds! My flash drive survived a boat crash, but not a
computer! Brought it to a computer place for them to transfer photos to
it, and it changed all my files, which now won't open! They are CR2
files, now I don't know what they are. Anyone think they can fix it?
I'll buy you a (reasonably priced :) ) dinner!

Plug the thumb drive into a
computer to see if you can see the contents of the thumb. You can google
for how to open CR2 files. I have never heard of that kind of file
format before. Photo files are usually JPG, JPEG, BMP, GIF, or there are
others, but I've never seen CR2 files. There are free file converter
programs online that you can download that can change files into
different kinds of files. You can watch how to videos in websites like
Youtube. Ask people how things work and you can find free alternatives.
You do not have to always pay people money to do things that can be
solved for free.
