Head Phones Rape

    How much money should I spend on cheap or expensive headphones for music and for listening to videos and even for cell phone conversations, which may include a microphone, as well?

    Head phones can be as cheap as $1 USD, that is 20.000 VND, and some can be $400 USD, as in 8.000.000 VND, and the rest all between that. Some head phones are wireless and some have wires. Some have a microphone included while others do not. Some have a volume control while others do not. More expensive head phones are sometimes given the same exact cheap cord. Often times, the cord is the first to break. You may have seen this happen with your headphones. Joey Arnold

    • Joey Arnold I am asking about the quality of the wires. This is a crucial question because I have bought all kinds of headphones in my life and I know what I am talking about. I have years of experience with headphones. When you pay more money for headphones, you sometimes get the same exact weak cord to go with it that will break soon.

    • Original Oatmeal Jen, it is not that simple. I understand what you are saying but there is more to it than simply that. The cables are still cheap, even when the headphones cost more money. Cheap headphones come with cheap cables and expensive headphones often come with the same cheap cables that the cheap headphones come with.

      Unfortunately, people do not know this. They are unaware of this. People spend more money on more expensive headphones but they still get the same exact cables or cords or wires to go with the headphones.

      Fortunately for the headphone makers, they are able to sell more expensive headphones and make a profit because they are NOT giving you a stronger cord to go with the stronger headphones. If people knew this then people would stop buying the more expensive headphones because it lacks the proper integrity needed for keeping the headphones durable for generations to come.

    • Original Oatmeal Jen, do not worry. But you do not need to know about something to read about it. You can always learn about things you do not know by reading about it. If you knew everything then you wouldn't need to read anything at all because you would already know all about it. The same goes with meeting people. Sometimes I meet people and they ask me if I know them and I reply, "Do you want to?"

    • Original Oatmeal I am talking about the cord that goes from the headphones to the computer or phone or music player. Most headphones are built with the same exact cord. If you buy cheap headphones, you get the same exact cord to go with it. You plug in the cord into your phone, laptop, computer, music player, MP3, iPod, etc. If you buy expensive headphones, you may get the same exact cheap cord that also are in cheap headphones as well.

    • Nguyen Hong Ha I know apple headphone model B60 is very good , high quality , it was designed to use for iphone 5 , cord is aslo higher quality than others
    • Original Oatmeal I am trying to say that most people do this. When I talk to people, they usually say that they block people on Facebook whenever they feel like it. This is a general mindset that millions of people do in this world. I really do not care about just this one individual. I write so that everybody can see because other people block people all of the time. Many people block me all of the time. That is fine. However, those same people may also block others as well, people who may need their friendship. That may result in suicides, deaths, problems, because when you block somebody then that person may lose their will to survive like Padme did when Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader, opps, SPOLIER ALERT.
    • Original Oatmeal I really hope that the cord really does have a higher quality. Some cords are made stronger and better and some are not. Sometimes it will cost more money but it will still not be a higher quality. Sometimes they lie to you. So we all have to be careful. How much money is the Apple B60 headphones?

    • Original Oatmeal I need to go read internet articles and talk to more people first because I am still majorly and fundamentally skeptical and critical and uncertain about the quality of the cords. I will need to see more and read more about the facts about why some cords are made weaker while others are made stronger and why. I am always a man of research.

      I do not really trust anybody in some ways. Even if my own mother says something, I will still want to do my own homework. I am not going to just trust my mother or wife or best friend or anyone. I will have to do my own independent studies and research on the subjects at hand and truly scrutinize it to death before making any kind of action one way or another.

    • Original Oatmeal He made a premature assumption based off the pattern he sees from other people. For example, if you see a tree, then you know it is a tree if it looks like a tree and smells like a tree and barks like a tree. But then I come along and people think I am a tree as well but I am not. Just because it looks like a tree, does not mean it is always a tree. People think I am crazy because I look crazy, but that is an unfair calculation that is not always accurate enough for proper results.

    • Jen-jen Pableo others may underestimate you but don't underestimate yourself and think you are greater and blessed than them.God is with you joey.God give you trials such as these because He wanted you to be strong no matter what. though you've been miles apart from your family but you still have them unlike others who had really or totally lost their love ones... have courage joey ! and scream I WILL SURVIVE !! eheheh

    My girl friend stole $3,000,000 from me. That is three million. She gets mad at me for not spending money on her, but I kind of did spend a bunch of money and time on her. Plus, some of my most valuable things in my life may have been stolen at the Papa Foods in Bac Ninh, Vietnam. There are things that mean everything to me back there but that suitcase is missing.     Kathy Thao Duong told me to be Buddhist. I was born and raised a Christian. Now, "Christianity" is not actually a religion but more a way of life. Jesus died to save you if you give your life to Him. Now, "Kathy" Phuong Thao Duong, wants me to change my religion. I told her I can try.
