  • Joey Arnold I think that as a person matures, their understanding of comedy matures, both in the way they see it & in the way that they share it. So, in other words, humor is a gift. Laughter is also medicine for the soul. So that is the magic of genuine laughter. As you grow in Christ, you can begin to appreciate the world that God made, & God invented comedy. God invented laughter. 

    As you mature in Christ, you might:

    1. See comedy more in the world around you, more often, since God invented the world & since God has invented humor, God has actually integrated the two together, & as you grow, you begin seeing humor in more places and more often.

    2. Plus, then you start becoming part of that humor because since God made the world & since God made humor, & since God integrates the two together, we can actually grow up to be part of that integration, because as you grow you begin to become like Christ, & what is Christ like?

    Christ is funny. Christ is the funniest dude ever.
